My experience with Janice Johnston is two-fold, having had the pleasure to work with her as a buyer and a seller. I began working with her as a buyer before I retired in 2017. The process of looking for a home in my preferred area took about a year and a half before my actual retirement date. Never once was I made to feel like it was waste of time to show me houses even though I wasn’t quite ready. Janice proved to be not only knowledgeable and pleasant, but also patient. Janice helped us buy our home six years ago, and then she helped us sell our home this year. On the buy side - we were new to the area - Janice was very patient and showed us many homes. In the process she gained a better understanding of what we really wanted in a home, and we found a perfect match. Then, when it was time for us to sell - she marketed our home brought multiple offers to us as soon as it was listed. I began my full-time Real Estate career in early 2015. My interest in real estate began earlier in my business career when I was a Business/Transaction Manager for two top producing agents in Northern Virginia. Since then, I have received Rookie of the Year, Top Producer, & Quality Service Provider awards. I have lived up & down the East coast, California & Europe both as an Army officer's wife & corporate/business professional. Each move required the purchase &/or sale of personal homes utilizing Realtors & relocation companies. These experiences have given me insight & sensitivity to the home selling & buying process.
